Demonstration marches, which set out from a number of Lebanese regions on Saturday afternoon, protesting the new government under the slogan "No confidence", have joined together at Riad El-Solh Square in downtown Beirut this evening.
Demonstrators then headed to Nejmeh Square's entrance, where they banged on the iron walls placed by the security forces to protect the entrance, and chanted slogans towards the Grand Serail calling on Prime Minister Hassan Diab to step down, describing his cabinet as "government of political quotas".
