The third interval of the Middle East Airlines' flights to evacuate Lebanese expatriates from abroad ends on Sunday, based on the plan the government has put in place to repatriate those stranded abroad due to the spread of the coronavirus, which began on the fourteenth of this month.
The Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut will receive seven flights on Sunday, starting at two in the afternoon, carrying Lebanese from Riyadh, then from Frankfurt at five, and at six in the evening a flight from the French capital Paris will arrive, followed by another from Brussels, then from Abu Dhabi at nine, and Dubai at ten, with the last flight for today being from London at half past one after midnight.
It is to note that today’s flights will carry passengers who have conducted PCR exams in the countries they have departed, whereby they will hand over their test results to the Ministry of Public Health’s medical team upon reaching Beirut Airport. The procedures and measures adopted at the airport will continue upon the arrival of any flight.
A flight from Moscow carrying 237 passengers had arrived last night, as well as flights from London, Abidjan and Mozambique.
