Free Patriotic Movement leader, MP Gebran Bassil, called via his Twitter account on Friday for opposition against the general amnesty law.
“We support the punishment of criminals," Bassil tweeted.
He rebuked what he dismissed an “unacceptable exchange” to pardon terrorists and criminals against the return of the Lebanese from Israel.
"The amnesty law for those who fled to Israel has been issued, but the implementation decree is missing. Whoever has soaked his hands in blood must not return. We cannot build a state by encouraging crime,” Bassil’s tweet added.
