Following Head of National Committee for COVID-19 Vaccine Abdel-Rahman Al-Bizri's claim that a number of MPs received COVID-19 vaccine without the committee's approval, Parliament's Secretary General, Adnan Daher explains, "The number of MPs who received the vaccine is 16, under the supervision of a team from the Ministry of Health and the Lebanese Red Cross."
"All the names of MPs who received the vaccine are on the official platform, and according to the age group, it is their turn to receive the vaccine. This is what we did, considering that the MPs mainly deal with laws and their meetings are permanent, and for fear of transmitting the infection to society if they are infected."
