Caretaker Minister of Energy Walid Fayyad is visiting New York, where he held a series of preparatory meetings ahead of his official participation in the UN Water Conference.

Fayyad will hold more bilateral meetings with his European and Arab counterparts on the sidelines of the conference.

In New York, he met with the Charge d'Affaires of Lebanon's Permanent Mission to the UN, Jeanne Mrad.

He also held talks with representatives of the European Commission, and met an official dinner invitation in the presence of the Dutch King and Tajikistan President.
