Once again, truth emerged victorious in Lebanon, no matter how loud the cacophonies are.

Here is MTV, succeeding just as it did in the past with other trades, in thwarting the airport deal, which would have made millions of dollars in profits, in violation of the law. 

In this context, Caretaker Minister of Public Works Ali Hamieh announced his retraction from the implementation of the project, as a result of pressure exerted by MTV for more than a week in a series of reports, leading to the interaction of a number of political figures with the issue.

Unfortunately, others, including some media companies, remained completely silent, and stood by the corrupt participants in the deal.


Thus, we would like to congratulate the Lebanese for the desisting of the airport project, and we pledge that we will remain the voice of the people in the face of the oppressors and the corrupt.
