Schools in South Lebanon Will Stay Closed for the Third Day

The media office at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education issued the following statement:

Due to escalating security and military tensions in the southern region and the exposure of a number of homes and individuals to missiles and gunfire from the Israeli enemy, the Minister of Education and Higher Education Abbas Al-Halabi announced that all public and private schools, secondary schools, and vocational schools will remain closed on Thursday 12th October, 2023, in the districts of the south.

This is the 3rd day schools in districts near the southern border will stay closed.
