The Israelis have once again issued strongly-worded warnings to Hezbollah, cautioning them against entering the war. Israeli President Isaac Herzog affirmed, "Lebanon will pay the price if Hezbollah decides to engage in the war." He emphasized during his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron that they do not seek to open a new front in the north, "but we are ready if Hezbollah drags us into war," he said.
Herzog explained that they are facing long weeks of fighting ahead, stating, "Hamas launched the worst attack in the 21st century, and we are committed to confronting the enemy."
Meanwhile, Macron pointed out, "We sent warnings to Hezbollah about the consequences of intervening in the war."
