Development and Liberation Parliamentary Bloc Member, MP Ali Khreiss, declared on Saturday that "We are fully prepared for the legislative elections at the logistics, popular and administrative levels, for we consider that said elections are pivotal and would determine the country's political course in the next phase."
"For the first time in the history of Lebanon, an electoral law that adopts the relativity rule with preferential votes is applied," Khreiss added, speaking after his meeting with popular delegations from the South region who visited him at his Tyre office today.
He disclosed that Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Amal Movement would announce the candidates expected to run in the parliamentary elections.
"Amal Movement's existence is not temporary but rather permanent," stressed Khreiss, vowing to remain "committed to serving the people in both good and bad times."
