MP Samir Jisr said in an interview on Wednesday that the current delay in the formation of a new cabinet was due to a number of requests and conditions imposed by some sides and "had nothing to do with any external factors."
Moreover, the lawmaker said that forming a cabinet that represented everyone was not necessary, opting for a coalition government that only includes the major political blocs.
He finally pushed for alleviating obstacles hindering the formation of a new cabinet, stressing Prime Minister Saad Hariri's efforts to resolve existing disagreements.
