Celebrating the great July 2006 Victory, Hezbollah Chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah underlined that the resistance in Lebanon with its strength, resilience and valor is stronger than ever.
Nasrallah's words on Tuesday came in his address during a ceremony held by Hezbollah at the Ashura Square in Beirut's southern suburbs (Dahieh), marking the 12th anniversary of July 2006 Victory.
The ceremony was attended by MP Hikmat Dib representing President Michel Aoun, Caretaker Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil representing Parliament Speaker, Nabih Berri, and scores of political, official, diplomatic, military, religious and party dignitaries, in addition to representatives of the national and Palestinian factions' parties.
Appearing on a big screen at the ceremony, Nasrallah saluted the great crowd on the celebrated victory which has changed lots of equations, thanking all those who contributed to realizing July 2006 victory from the resistance, army, security forces, martyrs and their families.
Nasrallah also saluted Iran and Syria for their supportive stand besides Lebanon during the July War.
He assured, "as we won the July War 2006, we shall also emerge victorious very soon."
On the July War 2006, Nasrallah indicated that this war aimed at crushing the resistance or forcing it to surrender. However this failed, he corroborated.
"The failure of their project has strengthened the resistance in Lebanon and Gaza," he maintained.
"The sacrifices of our people, their steadfastness, the blood of martyrs, the courage of our fighters and the unyielding political position have brought us into a new phase."
Nasrallah stressed that the resistance nowadays with its strength, determination, resilience, and audacity is stronger than ever in the region.
He also indicated that the resistance is stronger than the Israeli army with the strength of its beliefs and convictions.
On the other hand, Nasrallah revealed US pressures practiced on Lebanon to patch up the maritime and land border issues to the benefit of Israel, however "the era of imposing conditions is over" he said.
On what is termed as the "deal of the century", Nasrallah said that this deal was facing indisputable problems, with a high probability for the fall of this deal due to the full rejection of this deal by all Palestinians.
Hezbollah's leader also indicated that the deal of the century was destined to failure due to the resilience of the resistance axis, Iran's steadfastness and the victory of Iraq and Syria on the Daesh movements, not to mention the retreat of the Saudi-led axis in the region.
Addressing Yemenis, Nasrallah assured them, "The same as the blood of our children in Lebanon were victorious; Yemen's children will emerge victorious as well."
Turning to the Lebanese affairs, he stressed "continuing dialogue and avoiding the street" voicing keenness on security and safety to reach a result on the subject of the government formation.
He also stressed that bets on foreign interferences on government formation issue shall not be useful.
He also said that Hezbollah was adamant to combat corruption and reducing public money squandering.
