Prime Minister Saad Hariri welcomed on Friday at the Center House the US Ambassador to Lebanon Elizabeth Richard. Discussions focused on the current situation and the relations between the two countries.
Hariri also met with Ccaretaker Minister of Energy, Cesar Abi Khalil, and discussed with him the affairs of his ministry.
He also received a delegation from the Lebanese Council of Women Leaders, led by the President of the Council Madiha Raslan, in the presence of Hariri's advisor for women's affairs Abir Chbaro.
After the meeting, Raslan said: "We wanted to visit Prime Minister Hariri today to urge him to form a government quickly because the economic situation is becoming more and more difficult and it is no longer possible to wait. We want him to form the government so all things work in the country. The priority should be the economy. We are ready to cooperate on all levels, but it is important that the economic wheel turns again."
