President Michel Aoun and First Lady, Nadia Shami Aoun, on Thursday illuminated the Christmas tree at Baabda Presidential Palace, during a ceremony attended by several figures.
The ceremony was attended by a children's choir from NDU, the president's family, the palace officials and employees, the presidential guard, officers, and media representatives.
On the occasion, President Aoun hoped that "joy returns to the hearts of the Lebanese despite the difficult times they endure.”
