Development and Liberation bloc member, MP Inaya Ezzeddine, said that "the ministerial statement is a double-edged sword. For it to be in the interest of the country and the people, we must discuss the main axes."
"In the fight against corruption, the statement is committed to the adoption of an anti-corruption strategy; a strategy applied by the previous government and I am honored to have taken part of it. This strategy and its objectives are a complete roadmap to combat corruption," the MP said.
"The ministerial statement is devoid of any call to activate the national committee to abolish political sectarianism. What is this State waiting for? Isn't the abolition of political sectarianism the gate to a civil State?" she asked.
"I give confidence to this government and I pledge to the people that we will spare no effort to carry out accountability measures. We are in the process of preparing a framework to monitor progress in the implementation of the ministerial statement," she concluded.
