Deputy Speaker Elie Ferzli said on Thursday that "the debate on the budget and its figures leads to negative results and is fabricated by those who launch views and theories proved to be wrong."
He said in an interview that "any discussion on the budget with no bill drafted by the government is a debate does not serve the national cause."
He blamed "those who turn to fictitious discussions," accusing "those who talked about the deduction in salaries and other things of bad faith, as these suggestions proved to be incorrect."
"Where is the austerity draft that is being talked about?" he asked.
