Future parliamentary bloc member, MP Tarek Merehbi, expressed Saturday his optimism towards Lebanon's future despite all the circumstances and crises prevailing in the country.
He commended the "highly important mission and great role" played by Prime Minister Saad Hariri in this respect, considering that his role denotes "a safety valve for Lebanon."
"We are all awaiting the implementation of the decisions of the Cedar Conference, which represents a new glimmer of hope for Lebanon, in activating the economic wheel and opening new horizons for investments and projects that push our youth forward by providing them with job opportunities," Merehbi added.
His words came during a ceremony honoring instructors and students of the Mishmish Technical Institute in Akkar. The MP highlighted the significance of vocational education in Lebanon and the need to strengthen this field, in addition to providing all suitable conditions for promoting technical institutes in the region of Akkar.
Merehbi concluded by urging the state to accord Akkar's citizens more attention and care, and to provide its capable youth with opportunities for work and advancement as a priority.
