Future parliamentary bloc on Tuesday highly valued the fresh talks Prime Minister Saad Hariri had held with US officials in Washington, stressing that his efforts only serve Lebanon's best interests.
"The missions assumed by the Prime Minister do not serve any local or external agenda contradicting the best interest of the Lebanese state," the bloc said in a statement issued following its weekly meeting at the Center House, chaired by MP Bahiya Hariri.
According to the statement, the bloc expressed relief over the fresh reconciliation held in Baabda palace.
It also pinned hope on the imminent Cabinet session to execute the economic plan agreed during the financial meeting at Baabda palace, stressing the importance "to activate contacts with Lebanon's Arab and international partners."
On the national defense strategy, the bloc highlighted the necessity "to send positive messages to Lebanon's partners and friends" to underline Lebanon's commitment to enhancing the legitimate institutions.
