Marking the Saudi Kingdom's 89th National Day, Prime Minister Saad Hariri expressed his heartiest greetings on Saturday to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and all Saudi citizens.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency on the occasion, Hariri said: "The National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia comes in wake of exceptional developments in the region, and in the face of challenges confronting the Arab countries, including the foreign interference in its affairs and external violations targeting our societies..."
He stressed that "the Kingdom is at the top of the targeted countries and has been subjected for some time to a series of aggression with clear objectives and intentions, and today constitutes a headline for defending Arab sovereignty and warding off the threats to its existence."
PM Hariri concluded: "We, in Lebanon, affirm on the Kingdom's National Day full solidarity with the brotherly Saudi people and their leadership, and we stress that stability in the Kingdom is an Arab and international responsibility that amounts to defending global and regional stability, in all its political, security, economic and development dimensions."
