Lebanon's Petrol Stations Syndicate Chief Sami Al-Brax on Wednesday utterly denied rumors circulated on social media of an impending petrol crisis in Lebanon.
"There is neither a gasoline nor a fuel crisis looming in the horizon despite the syndicate's rejection of the price table issued by the Ministry of Energy and Water on Wednesday, December 4, 2019," Al-Brax said in a statement.
The new price table temporarily deducted LBP 475 from the station's ratio for each gasoline unit to finance the fluctuations of the USD exchange rate upon import.
