Elia Square in Sidon has turned into a meeting place for humanitarian initiatives organized by the city's civil movement, within the framework of helping and supporting citizens especially those who have lost the ability to secure the least livelihood means amid the difficult economic crisis.
The organizers, joined by several young men and women, worked to distribute food to those in need throughout the day, in addition to setting up a fully-equipped "open-air kitchen" on stage to secure food supplies to a number of needy families.
