The Palestinian Ministry of Health has announced that operations at the Al-Shifa Hospital complex stopped due to the complete depletion of fuel.
Director of the complex Mohammed Abou Suleima reported that children and patients are dying due to the shutdown of equipment after the complex lost electricity, emphasizing that only hours separate other patients and medical teams from death.
This comes after Doctors Without Borders declared its inability to contact any of its staff inside Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, which has been under intense Israeli bombardment since yesterday, Friday.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Minister of Health stated that both Al-Nasr and Al-Rantisi hospitals are completely out of service due to direct sheombinglling, noting that "inevitable death has become the fate of patients in hospitals."
