After Military Patrol and Strike, Hezbollah Vows Retaliation If Invaded
Al-Hadath sources reported that “the failure to reach a negotiation framework between Lebanon and Israel increases the likelihood of a military escalation.”

The sources added that “allowing the Lebanese Army to deploy north of the Litani River could help avert an Israeli strike.”

In this context, sources close to Hezbollah told Al-Hadath that “the group may respond in the event of a ground invasion.” The sources stated: “We are not considering any amendments to the ceasefire agreement at this time. The Lebanese Army’s deployment north of the Litani may take place, but only under a subsequent agreement.”

The sources affirmed that “Hezbollah remains committed to the agreement with Israel, which applies exclusively to areas south of the Litani River.”
