The Rafic Hariri University Hospital received, during the past 24 hours, 32 cases admitted to the emergency unit designated to welcome people suspected to have contracted coronavirus.
All 32 patients underwent the necessary medical examination, and 7 of them were quarantined, as per the directions of their examining doctor. The rest were asked to remain quarantined at home.
Laboratory tests were performed on 18 patients who all tested negative for coronavirus.
Three patients were asked to stay under home quarantine for 14 days, and were provided with all the necessary instructions, in accordance with the directions of the World Health Organization. Those 3 patients were examined twice for coronavirus and they all tested negative, twice.
Eight patients are in the quarantine unit, knowing that lab tests that were conducted on them came negative.
The patient with the only confirmed coronavirus infection remains in the isolation unit, and is in stable condition and receiving the necessary treatment.
