Caretaker Minister of Economy, Nicolas Nahas, called upon politicians to ease political disagreements over the interpretation of laws in favor of jurisprudence and legal references.
"We are currently living a difficult, unprecedented situation but the Lebanese experience in exiting crisis is capable of bringing them together to communicate and search for the appropriate solution," Nahas said in a radio interview.
He added that the latest crisis which stemmed out from disagreements over the legality of the parliamentary session, is not a political but rather constitutional.
Nahas pointed out that communication and meetings between Speaker Nabih Berri and outgoing Prime Minister Najib Mikati have never stopped.
