Justice Minister Albert Sarhan on Wednesday welcomed British Ambassador to Lebanon, Chris Rampling, who visited him in the company of the UK Embassy's Second Secretary, Simon O'Donnell.
"I have been pleased to hold a fruitful meeting with Minister Serhan. We mainly discussed the best means to activate bilateral relations between Lebanon and Britain at all levels, especially at the judicial level," Rampling said on emerging.
"We also discussed the important role played by the judiciary at the current stage, especially the independence of the judiciary," the UK diplomat added.
