MP Samir Jisr said that "this ministerial statement has summarized the traditional introductions and replaced them with a declaration of a government that addresses financial corruption and meets the aspirations of the Lebanese."
"The statement sounded the alarm and warned that we have an opportunity that may not be repeated. The simplest of duties is to take this initiative," Jisr said, stressing that cooperation is required between the legislative and executive authorities.
"The speed in drafting the statement signals the clear intention to get out of the crisis. We give confidence to the government in the name of the future bloc," he concluded.
