Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros Rahi presided over Sunday mass in Bkerke this morning.
In his sermon, Patriarch Rahi considered that Christians who deal with political affairs are called to exercise their service in the spirit of impartiality and sincere dedication to serving the common good.
Rahi demanded the formation of a new government because Lebanon needs it, and that it be an inclusive government that inspires confidence through its national line and its seriousness in completing the outstanding issues.
The Patriarch also called for the election of a new president to bring Lebanon out of the gutter, at least one month before the end of the president's term, or two months at the most.
