Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam said efforts were still ongoing to form a new government as soon as possible, noting that this lingering issue needs to be clenched not only due to the vulnerable situation that Lebanon is witnessing, but also because there is a valuable opportunity to be swiftly seized.
In remarks published in Assafir newspaper, Salam pointed out that the available opportunity was bolstered by a "national will" seeking to ward off all things that could jeopardize the country's stability.
