March 8 Disgruntled over Samaha's Sentence

March 8 circles accused the Future party of imposing political extortion on the judiciary.
"The campaign against the military court is deplorable; Samaha's jail sentence was harsher than expected," March 8 said in a published article by Assafir newspaper.
Said circles condemned stances which have erupted from Justice Minister Rifi, and former PM Saad Hariri, as reflecting a churlish intervention into the Judiciary which is supposed to emulate impartiality.
