Hassan: ISF protector of freedoms and order

Caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Raya Hassan, maintained on Monday that the "Internal Security Forces is the protector of rights and freedoms, and the guarantor of security, order and the state of law."

In remarks made to Al-Amen magazine, Hassan indicated that despite the mistakes that happened while ISF members were assuming their duty to preserve citizens' security, they were still committed to the code of conduct organizing their mission.

On the performance of the security forces during protests, Hassan said: "In this exceptional period, the ISF were up to the level of their responsibilities, despite the severity of challenges."
