SGBL confirms no French withdrwal from bank's capital

Société Générale de Banque au Liban (SGBL) issued a statement on Friday denying claims of a French withdrawal from the Bank's financial capital.

The bank's statement came in response to an article published by "Al-Akhbar" newspaper.

"The article contains wrong and fabricated information which will make the newspaper, the writer of the article, and the editor -in-chief suffer the consequences of legal prosecution," the SGBL statement said.
