Closing of entrances to Beddawi Camp

A patrol belonging to the joint security force in the Beddawi refugee camp closed off, on Sunday, all entrances to the camp, preventing any entry or exit, in anticipation of the spread of the coronavirus within the camp's neighborhoods.
Activists and citizens in the camp sent out calls via social media to the security force, "to impose a curfew inside the camp on the residents, in order to preserve the health and lives of the people inside."
They also appealed to the displaced Syrians living in the camp, "to stay in their homes during this period, and to adhere to domestic quarantine," warning that "if the virus spreads in the camp, the consequences and repercussions will be disastrous for everyone."
