Diab presides meeting of Inter-ministerial Committee for Social Emergency

Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, on Monday evening at the Grand Serail, presided over the meeting of the Inter-ministerial Committee for Social Emergency, in the presence of Ministers of Social Affairs and Tourism Ramzi Musharrafieh, Finance Ghazi Wazni, Interior Mohammad Fahmi, Information Manal Abdel Samad, Economy and Trade Raoul Nehme, Labor Lamia Yammine, Industry Imad Hoballah, Agriculture and Culture Abbas Mortada, and in the presence of Judge Mahmoud Makiya, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, and Antoine Choucair, Director General of the Presidential Palace.

The committee discussed the mechanism for aid distribution in remote areas and localities without municipalities or heads of village (mukhtars), in addition to the activation of the hotline provided to report citizens' complaints.
