"We do not bet on decisions issued by the Security Council or the United Nations, but rather we rely on our faith, our principles and our resistance, which is the main deterrent to the Israeli enemy that is still thinking and planning to undermine our determination," said Development and Liberation Parliamentary Bloc Member, MP Ali Khreiss, on Sunday.
His words came during a symbolic stand held by Amal Movement today in commemoration of the Qana martyrs, by visiting their tombs in the Jabal Amel region while maintaining the principle of social distancing.
In his commemorative word, Khreiss stressed that the Lebanese will never "forget nor overlook Israel's ambitions in our land, water and oil, despite all sufferings endured in the financial and economic situations and the Corona crisis," reiterating that "Israel is the absolute evil and dealing with it is forbidden."
"It has escaped the enemy's mind that we belong to a school founded by Imam Sayyid Mousa al-Sadr, who taught us the meaning of giving, martyrdom, challenge, confrontation and resistance," he said.
"When we see the families of the martyrs, we become stronger in our determination, strength and sturdiness...We have learned from our Imam and our leader that the best facet of war against the enemy is the internal civil peace," Khreiss underscored.
