Army distributes social assistance relief to families of public school students

Lebanese army units began distributing social assistance relief to the families of public school students in all Lebanese governorates, in implementation of a Cabinet decision and in accordance with the regulations provided by the Ministry of Higher Education, a Lebanese army communique said on Tuesday.

The distribution process, which will last for several days, will take place inside the buildings of public schools in coordination with their principals, who have assumed the task of communicating with parents and distributing relief in accordance to specific dates — to prevent the public gatherings and preserve people’s safety.

The Army Command asked of those concerned to comply with the Covid-19 prevention guidelines.

To facilitate the communication process, the Army Command has also established a Call Center to receive any inquiries from the citizens, on the following numbers:
