Hassan inspects Bekaa’s Marj town

Health Minister Hamad Hassan on Friday inspected the Bekaa town of Marj, and met with its Municipality Head, Munawar al-Jarrah, at the municipal building, in the presence of Head of Parliamentary Health Committee, MP Assem Araji and municipality members.

Municipality Head Al-Jarrah briefed Minister Hassan on the measures undertaken by the municipality to contain and combat the coronavirus pandemic.

The Ministry of Health, under the guidance of Minister Hassan, has conducted PCR testing for more than 150 citizens who had been in contact with an infected patient from the town.

Minister Hassan also briefed them on the Ministry's plan and preventive measures to stem the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the Ministry’s steps that will be taken in the coming days.
