Derian meets Kahwaji, Press Syndicate Dean

Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian, on Thursday received at Dar al-Fatwa the Director of Lebanese Army Intelligence, Brigadier General Tony Kahwaji, accompanied by the Director’s second assistant, Brigadier General Nabil Ahmad Abdullah, who came on an acquaintance visit.
Discussions reportedly touched on a range of public affairs, in addition to the prevailing security and daily living conditions in the country.
Mufti Derian also met today with Press Syndicate Dean Auni Al-Kaaki.
The Grand Mufti asserted that the efforts undertaken by the PM-designate to form the new government require cooperation from everyone to facilitate his national rescue mission.
