The Director General of the General Security in Lebanon, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, continues to follow up on the file of the arrested Lebanese persons in the UAE.
MTV Website has learned that a mediation conducted by Ibrahim in recent days resulted in lifting the travel ban for some former detainees in the UAE, and a number of them have arrived in Beirut.
Ibrahim's efforts and his previous contacts led to the release of 11 out of approximately 30 Lebanese detainees.
