Public administrations in Lebanon call for strike from June 30 till July 9

As crises keep mounting in Lebanon, and in light of the negligence of officials facing this massive deterioration, the administrative body of the Association of Public Administration Employees called in a statement on Monday for a strike from Wednesday, June 30, 2021, till Friday, July 9, 2021.
The statement called on state employees not to return to work until demands, such as the repatriation of looted funds and fixing salaries - whose purchasing power keeps dwindling - are met.
