Hezbollah sternly condemned the U.S. airstrikes on the Iraqi-Syrian border on Monday, expressing condolences on the martyrdom of several fighters.
"What the American warplanes did was a flagrant attack on the sovereignty of the two brotherly countries, in order to weaken their capacities to resist terrorist and takfiri groups," the party said in a statement.
"The region will not enjoy stability and security before expelling the American occupation forces from the two countries," it added.
