Father accidentally shoots son with rifle in Azqi

The town of Azqi in Dannieh witnessed on Wednesday an accident that left a man shot dead by his own father's rifle.
A family dispute broke out between the two men, developing into an altercation where the father pointed a hunting rifle at his son in an attempt to scare him off. Things soon escalated into a fight and led to the firing of a shot that hit the son in the neck. The wounded man was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment, but he soon succumbed to his fate.
The security forces rushed to the scene and opened an investigation into the incident.
