President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, stressed on Thursday the importance of young people in the process of rapprochement between countries, and the great role that they can play in this field, through interaction with each other, establishing bridges of communication and demolishing obstacles that would contribute to increasing opportunities for war and fighting instead of adopting a culture of peace and dialogue.
President Aoun called on young people to delve deeper into the culture of regulating laws, because hopes are placed on them to assume responsibilities in their countries in line with their future ideas and opinions.
The President also emphasized the importance of scouting and sports movements in gathering young people and refining their abilities and energies.
President Aoun's positions came while meeting Minister of Youth and Sports, George Kallas, who briefed him on the ministry's affairs and the activities it undertakes to enhance interaction with Lebanese youth.
After the meeting, Minister Kallas said:

"I presented with His Excellency the affairs of the Ministry and its relationship with the youth sectors, in addition to the preparations made, under the supervision of the Prime Minister, for the success of the General Arab Scout Conference that will be held in Lebanon next September, and the necessity of giving them special care and attention.

1- Education, no matter how much it is gained from theories, confirms that applied education is the most important in the progress of societies.
2- Rapprochement between countries that helps prosperity, promotes peace among young people, and enables them to build bridges between each other in countries.
