Makary visits Sabbah Media Corporation's headquarters, meets board chairman Sadek Sabbah

Information Minister Ziad Makary on Thursday visited the Beirut-based Sabbah Media Corporation headquarters, where he met with its Board Chairman Sadek Sabbah, and congratulated him on the release of the company’s Egyptian accountant, Sadiq Rolly, who was recently kidnapped.
During the visit, discussions touched on several issues related to production, especially the recent appointment of Sadek Sabbah as Vice-President of the General Union of Arab Producers, whereby he was tasked to coordinate with the Lebanese official authorities to establish a permanent headquarters for the Union in the capital, Beirut.
Both sides also agreed to set a date for the visit of the delegation of Arab producers to Beirut, headed by the Union’s President Dr. Ibrahim Abu Zekry, to start working on this huge project, which will officially put the drama and cinema industry in Lebanon on the map of Arab drama, with the official support of the concerned authorities in the Lebanese state.
