Polls closed in Australia at 5:00 o’clock this afternoon (Beirut local time), and ballot boxes opened in Vancouver, Canada, where 525 voters will cast their votes in one center until 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, Monday (Beirut local time).
Sixteen ballot boxes distributed over 10 polling stations also opened in 5 American states, in California, Washington, Nevada, Oregon and Arizona, where 6,542 voters are scheduled to cast their votes until 8 in the morning tomorrow, Monday (Beirut local time).
Accordingly, the expatriates’ voting process in the Diaspora countries would have taken place over a period of 32 hours, from midnight Saturday - Sunday until eight o'clock Monday morning.
