President of United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Passes Away

Friday, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) announced the death of the President of the State, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed.
WAM published on Twitter, "The Ministry of Presidential Affairs mourns the people of the UAE, the Arab and Islamic nations, and the whole world, the leader of the nation and the patron of his career, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, who moved to the side of his Lord satisfied today, Friday, May 13."
It also announced official mourning and the media at half-mast on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for a period of 40 days from Friday.
The Ministry of Presidential Affairs also announced the suspension of work in ministries, departments, federal and local institutions, and the private sector for 3 days, starting from Friday.
