Lebanese Central Bank issues important statement to banks

The Lebanese Central Bank Governor, Riad Salameh, issued the following statement on Friday:
"Lebanese banks, starting from upcoming Monday, and for three consecutive days, must keep their branches and funds open daily until 6:00 pm in order to meet the requests of citizens to buy dollars at the Sayrafa rate for those who hand over Lebanese pounds, and to pay the pensions of employees in the public sector in dollars also according to Sayrafa price."
