After the argument that took place between MP Halima Kaakour and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and the objection of MP Farid Haykal Al-Khazen, MP Paula Yacoubian responded to Al-Khazen sarcastically: "Patriarchy has nothing to do with the Patriarch because it means superiority."
Another debate took place again, but this time between MP Cynthia Zarazir and MP Qabalan Qabalan, who described her as a cockroach ("Sarasir"). Yacoubian then said to Berri: "A member of parliament from your bloc is describing another MP as a cockroach."
