Makary broaches media topics with GIZ delegation

Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, received in his office at the Ministry a delegation from the Deutsche Gesellschaft Für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in the presence of the Director of the Office in Lebanon, Thomas Müller, accompanied by the Manager of the Employment Promotion Project, Carlos Mohr, and Dr. Peters Finianos.
Minister Makary presented to the delegation the projects of the Ministry of Information, especially the issue of restoration and rehabilitation of Lebanon's public TV.
During the meeting, topics related to media and production, the holding of training courses were discussed. A follow up meeting will take place to further discuss possible cooperation.
Emphasis was placed on the need to work to keep young Lebanese in Lebanon by providing them with job opportunities.
