Mufti Derian meets Saudi Islamic Affairs Minister

Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdellatif Derian met in Mecca with Saudi Arabia's Minister of Islamic Affairs Sheikh Dr. Abdellatif Al-Sheikh, over an array of religious affairs.
Both stressed the necessity of "unifying the stance of the Muslims and enhancing the image and noble values of Islam."
They also highlighted the importance of the cooperation and coordination between Lebanon's Dar-al-Fatwa and Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
Derian did not fail to heap praise on "the Saudi role in the Arab and Islamic affairs and the Kingdom's keenness on the safety, stability, security and safety of every Arab and Islamic country."
