Civil defense members, reinforced with equipment from multiple centers, worked from 5:45 pm on 16/09/2024 until 12:05 am on 17/09/2024 to extinguish a fire that broke out in grass and forest trees between Bzal and Qabaait in Akkar.
The team faced several challenges in extinguishing the fire due to the lack of accessible roads and the steep slopes, which obstructed access for firefighting vehicles.
